List Of Top IIMs need to Apply Separately!

When you register for the Common Admission Test (CAT), your application is automatically considered by most Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). However, certain IIMs require separate applications beyond the CAT registration. As of December 2024, the following IIMs necessitate individual application forms:

1. IIM Rohtak: Applicants must submit a distinct application with a fee of ₹3000(approx). The last date to apply is January 3, 2025.

 

2. IIM Mumbai: Formerly known as NITIE, IIM Mumbai requires a separate application. The application fee is ₹2,000, with the deadline on January 31, 2025.

 

3. IIM Amritsar: A separate application is required, with an application fee of ₹1,000. The last date to apply is January 25, 2025.

 

4. IIM Visakhapatnam: Candidates need to apply individually, paying an application fee of ₹1,000. The expected date of starting the application form will be first week of January, 2025.

 

It’s crucial to visit the official websites of these IIMs to access the application forms and stay updated on any changes to deadlines or application procedures. Additionally, while most IIMs consider your CAT application, some newer IIMs participate in a Common Admission Process (CAP), which may have its own set of requirements. For instance, IIM CAP 2025 is being conducted by IIM Bodh Gaya, and candidates need to register separately for the CAP process.
